The parking brake pressure sensor is located in the parking brake valve block on the right inner frame forward of the right rear wheel.
(24) Parking Brake Pressure Sensor The parking brake pressure sensor informs the ECM of parking brake system pressure. The ECM determines if the parking brake is engaged or disengaged by the signal that the pressure sensor provides. The pressure sensor output is a PWM signal. The brake charge pressure sensor is located on the inner right rear frame inside the engine compartment.
The brake charge pressure sensor notifies the ECM of the brake system status. The pressure sensor output is a pulse width modulated signal. The duty cycle of the signal will vary in proportion to the system pressure. The PWM signal is an input to the ECM. The ECM provides 8 V to the sensor.Position Sensors

(35) Parking Brake Solenoid The parking brake solenoid is controlled by the ECM. The ECM turns on and off the parking brake solenoid based on operator and machine inputs. The parking brake solenoid valve is a two position hydraulic solenoid valve.Data Link
Cat Data Link
The Cat Data Link is an input/output of the ECM. The data link uses the connector for the service port in order to communicate with the Caterpillar Electronic Technician. A data link connection is provided for the product link.Note: The control for the product link provides a global positioning system for the machine.The data link is bidirectional. The bidirectional link allows the ECM to input information and output information. The data link consists of the following parts: internal ECM circuits, the related harness wiring, the service tool connector and the connector for the product link. The Cat Data Link connects to the ECM at contact J1-10 (wire 893-GN(Green)) and contact J1-20 (wire 892-BR(Brown)).
The ECM receives commands from the Cat ET in order
