PARTS DISPOSITION
Handle the parts in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin on warranty parts handling.
Rework Procedure
1. Determine if hydraulic leak is from either the 372-5325 Tube Assembly (A) or the 369-6876 Adapter Assembly Tee (B). Refer to Image1.1.1.
2. Remove the 8M-2770 Clip (D), retaining the hardware, the 372-5325 Tube Assembly (A), and the 369-6876 Adapter Assembly Tee (B).
Note: 369-6876 Adapter Assembly Tee (B) can be removed by breaking it off of the manifold without removing the steering manifold located behind the adapter. The remaining threaded portion of the adapter tee will extend far enough for removal and the threads in the manifold casting will not be damaged. Refer to Image1.1.1.
3. Remove and retain for reuse the following parts from the 369-6876 Tee Assembly (B), the 165-4931 Elbow Assembly (F), and the 164-5567 Quick Disconnect with 6V-0852 Dust Cap (E). Note: The 148-8365 Elbow As.(C) is no longer required. Refer to Image1.1.1.

4. Install new 148-8316 Adapter Assembly (1) (built with 6V-8647 Adapter, 3J-7354 O-ring Seal, and 4J-5477 ORFS O-ring Seal) with new 166-2033 Tee Assembly (2) (built with 7X-2444 Swivel Tee and 4J-5477 O-ring Seal), in the steering valve load sense port. Refer to Image1.2.1.
5. Reuse 165-4931 Adapter Assembly Elbow (45 degree) (F), replace the 3J-1907 O-ring Seal. Reuse 164-5567 Nipple Assembly Quick Disconnect and 6V-0852 Cap Dust (E) and orient the pressure tap for access to the left hand side of the machine. Refer to Image1.2.1.
6. Install Hose Assembly 434-3185 (4) with the hose and the couplings oriented as shown. Refer to Image1.2.1.
7. Attach the 90 degree coupling (3) of the Hose Assembly (4) to 166-2033 Tee (2) mounted to the steering valve. Refer to Image1.2.1.
8. Attach the straight coupling (5) of the Hose Assembly (4) to the existing 164-5624 Elbow Adapter Assembly (45 degree) (G). Replace the ORFS seal with a new 6V-8398 ORFS O-ring Seal. Replace the 3J-1907 O-ring Seal with same 3J-1907 O-ring Seal and attach to the pump port. Refer to Image1.2.1.
9. Clamp the hose with one new 5P-9299 Clip (6), reusing hardware from the previously removed loop clip. Tighten with standard torques for all fittings. Refer to Image1.2.1.
10. Leak check the lines and connections.
