If there has been a previous repair, part age/hours will apply. Retain a copy of the previous repair invoice in the dealer's records for audit purposes, and specify repair date and machine hours in the "Additional Comments" section of the warranty claim.
PARTS DISPOSITION
Handle the parts in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin on warranty parts handling.
Rework Procedure
Refer to the Service Manual if/as necessary. See KENR5817 "Disassembly and Assembly for 993K Wheel Loader Power Train" for instructions to remove, disassemble, assemble, and install the torque converter.
1. Remove the torque converter from the machine.
2. Reassemble the torque converter following the procedure in the D&A manual with the replacement parts.
3. Remove the old power train oil cooler and install new power train oil cooler.
4. Install the torque converter into the machine.
5. Remove old power train filters and install new power train filters.
6. Kidney loop the power train oil system until the system is clean.
