Test Cylinder Circuit
When testing the rear attachment circuits the supply pressure of the power unit must be 20000 690 kPa (2900 100 psi)
Run the engine of the pull unit in order to reach the normal operating temperature.
Move the machine to a smooth, horizontal location. Move the machine away from other operating machines and away from personnel.
Place the transmission direction control lever of the pull unit in the Neutral position. Apply the parking brake and place chocks in front of the wheels and behind the wheels.
Cycle the apron cylinders and cycle the ejector cylinder until the cylinders are fully extended. Maintain the hydraulic pressure for one minute and check the circuit for leaks. Repeat the process for the front bowl cylinders, and the rear lift cylinders. Maintain the hydraulic pressure for one minute, and check the hydraulic circuit for leaks.
Cycle the apron cylinders and cycle the ejector cylinder until the cylinders are fully retracted. Maintain the hydraulic pressure for one minute and check the circuit for leaks. Repeat the process for the front bowl cylinders, and the rear lift cylinders. Maintain the hydraulic pressure for one minute, and check the hydraulic circuit for leaks.
Cycle each cylinder circuit five times by extending and retracting each cylinder. Check the circuits for leaks.
Repair any leaks that exist.Testing the Brake Circuit
When testing the hydraulic brake circuits the supply pressure of the power unit must be 14800 1050 kPa (2150 150 psi).
Apply the pressure and relieve the pressure to the brake circuit five times. Check for leaks.
Repair any leaks that exist.
