Hydraulic Breaker Relief Valve
To relieve all of the pressure in the hydraulic oil tank, push in the plunger on the hydraulic breaker relief valve until all hydraulic pressure is released. Note: The hydraulic tank filler cap may be removed instead, but using the plunger on the hydraulic breaker relief valve is a safer method of relieving the tank pressure.Testing the Sequence Valve

Example of the installation of the differential pressure gauge
(4) 0 to 4000 kPa (0 to 580 psi) pressure gauge. (5) Differential pressure gauge. (6) Low pressure port. (7) High pressure port.
Install 7X-0871 Tee with 6V-3965 Fitting As in pilot lines (L1) and (L2). Attach one end of a 1U-5755 Hose Assembly to the tee on pilot line (L1). Attach the opposite end of the hose assembly to the high pressure port (7) of pressure differential gauge group (5).
Install a 0 to 4000 kPa (0 to 580 psi) pressure gauge (4) onto the high pressure port of pressure differential gauge group (5). This pressure gauge will allow you to monitor the pressure during this test.
Attach one end of a 1U-5755 Hose Assembly to the tee on pilot line (L2). Attach the opposite end of the hose assembly to the low pressure port (6) of pressure differential gauge group (5). Note: Two 0 to 4000 kPa (0 to 580 psi) pressure gauges can be used to determine the pressure difference when a pressure differential gauge is not available. Attach one pressure gauge to pilot line (L1) and the other pressure gauge to pilot line (L2).Note: Position the pressure differential gauge group and the hydraulic hose assemblies in order to prevent damage from any machine movement.

(8) Pressure tap (CF)
Connect a 8T-0860 Pressure Gauge 40000 kPa (5800 psi) to pressure tap (8) (CR).
Start the engine. Operate the engine at low idle.
Slowly modulate the lift lever to the LOWER position. Move the lift lever to the LOWER position within 10 seconds. The pump pressure will increase as the machine tries to raise the tires off the ground.
Observe the pressure on pressure differential gauge group (5) and the pressure gauge that is connected to pressure tap (8).
Before reaching the maximum lever position, the pressure reading on the pressure gauge should drop below 1000 kPa (145 psi). The tires should return to the ground if the tires were in the air.
The pressure reading on pressure differential gauge group (5) should read 2000 100 kPa (290 14.5 psi) when the pump pressure drops.
Allow the tires to continue lowering to the ground.
If the pressure reading is correct, shut off the engine. Release the hydraulic oil pressure in the system. Remove the test equipment from pressure tap (8) and the pilot lines. Reconnect the pilot
