Handle the parts in accordance with your WarrantyBulletin on warranty parts handling.Attach. (1-Rework Procedure)Rework Procedure
Remove the A/C clutch and pressure switch leads.
Remove the compressor from the 1701135 BracketAssembly, supporting the compressor to prevent any kinking in the hoses.
Remove the bracket assembly.
Using a new 8N9885 Gasket, install the new 1874600
Bracket Assembly, using (2) 0S1590 Capscrews,(2) 5M2894 Washers, (4) 1A2029 Capscrews,(1) 1A7669 Capscrew, (1) 0S1595Capscrew, and (2) 5P8245 Washers. Install the existing 1701137 Bracketwith the 3B1915 Bolt and 5M2894 Washer.
Install the 1874599 Support to the A/C compressorusing the(2) 5B9603 Bolts, (2) 5M2894 Washers, and (2) 9S8752 nuts.
Reinstall the harness clips where appropriate.
Install the support to the 1874600 Bracket with(3) 9X8877 Bolts and (3) 5P8245 Washers.
Install the 1445612 Idler Assembly to the lefthand boss.
Install the 1333544 Belt Tightener with (1) 0S1619Capscrew and 5M2894 Washer to the right hand boss.
Install the 1864195 Belt.
Reinstall the A/C clutch and pressure switch leads.Tie wrap as required to prevent chafing.
Start the engine and check for leaks and for properbelt operation.
