1. Install hub with inner bearing on spindle. Then install outer bearing on spindle loose.2. Install washer, lockwasher, and nut (5) on spindle. Tighten nut (5) to a torque of 27 3 N m (20 2 lb.ft.).3. Rotate hub two full revolutions.4. Do Steps 2 and 3 again three more times in sequence.5. After nut (5) has been tightened the final time, bend a tang of lockwasher into slot of nut (5). If a tang of lockwasher is not in alignment with a slot of nut (5), then tighten nut (5) until a tang is in alignment with a slot.
