Remove bolt (2) and yoke (1).
Remove guard assembly (4). Remove speed sensor (3) (not shown).
Note the location of bolt (7) for assembly purposes. Remove bolt (7), bolts (6) and the spacers from bearing cage (5).

Use Tooling (C) in order to separate bearing cage (5) from the transfer gear case.
Remove bearing cage (5) and the shims from the transfer gear case.

Remove O-ring seal (10) from bearing cage (5). Remove bearing cup (8).
Use Tooling (A) (not shown) to remove lip seal (9) from bearing cage (5).

Remove transfer gear (11).

Remove retaining ring (12) and retainer assembly (13) from transfer gear (11).
If necessary, remove the spring pins from retainer assembly (13).

Use Tooling (B) to remove bearing cones (14) from transfer gear (11).

Bend clip (17) away from the head of bolt (16). Remove bolt (16). Remove tube assembly (15).

Remove bolts (19) from bearing cage (18).

Use Tooling (C) in order to separate bearing cage (18) from the transfer gear case. Remove bearing cage (18).
