HARNESS AS-PANEL 2365306 - Caterpillar

1. Attach a hoist and a suitable lifting sling to ejector cylinder (1), as shown. Put the ejector cylinder in position in the ejector body. The weight of the ejector cylinder is 253 kg (558 lb). 2. Apply 5P-3931 Anti-Seize Compound to pin (4) prior to assembly. Install pin (4) keeper plate (2) and two bolts (3).3. Connect hose assemblies (5) and (6) to ejector cylinder (1).4. Start the engine. Move ejector cylinder (1) to the fully extended position. 5. Align the bores of ejector cylinder (1) and the ejector plate. Stop the engine. 6. Apply 5P-3931 Anti-Seize Compound to pin assembly (7) prior to assembly. Install pin assembly (7). 7. Install bolt (8) and the washer. 8. Remove the port covers and install hose assemblies (9) and (10).9. Retract and eject the ejector plate several times to remove air from the ejector system. End By:a. Separate the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Separate and Connect" for the machine that is being serviced.
