Install retainer (15). Install bearing assembly (14). Use a suitable band clamp to retain bearing assembly (14).
Use the suitable lifting device to position hoist cylinder (1). The weight of hoist cylinder (1) is approximately 835 kg (1840 lb).

Use Tooling (G) to align hoist cylinder (1) and retainer (15).
Use Tooling (G) to press hoist cylinder (1) onto the bearing. Install cover (13) and install bolts (12). Install quick coupler (11) and quick coupler (10).Note: If necessary, use suitable spacers while pressing the hoist cylinder onto the bearing.

Connect grease hose assembly (9). Connect hose assemblies (8).
Fill the hydraulic tank. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Hoist, Torque Converter and Brake Tank Oil - Change".

Extend hoist cylinder (1). Use a suitable lifting device to align the head end of hoist cylinder (1) with the bore of the truck bed.
Apply Tooling (H) onto pin assembly (5). Install spacers (7), spacers (6), and pin assembly (5).
Install plate (4) and bolts (3). Connect grease hose assembly (2).

Raise the truck bed and remove the suitable blocking. Lower the truck bed.End By:
Remove the wheel chocks. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Wheel Chock (Front and Rear) - Remove and Install".
