2 21 6V-2317 Bolt Tighten bolt 1 through bolt 8 on each cover in a numerical sequence that is shown in Illustration 1 to standard torque.
Again, tighten bolt 1 through bolt 8 on each cover in a numerical sequence that is shown in Illustration 1 to standard torque.

4 3 5C-7261 Nut
5 2 4Y-9652 Gasket Install the gasket so that the bead is facing the cover.
Apply Loctite High Flex GM to the gasket surface that is on the cover. Spread the sealant uniformly on the face of the cover and around the bolt holes. The cover must be installed and tightened within 10 minutes.
