Information:
Start By:a. remove hood 1. Remove four bolts and washers (3) holding fan guard assemblies (4) together.2. Remove two bolts, washers, and clips (5) and reposition refrigerant hose assembly (2).3. Remove eight bolts and washers (1), and remove fan guard assemblies (4). 4. Support fan spider assembly (6) with tooling (A) and a hoist as shown.5. Remove six bolts and washers (7) from fan spider assembly (6).6. Remove fan spider assembly (6) from the fan drive, and carefully rest it inside of radiator assembly (8). Remove tooling (A) and hoist from fan spider assembly (6).
Do not damage the radiator core when the fan spider assembly is place against it.
For photographic purposes the radiator and fan spider assembly have been removed. 7. Loosen three bolts (9) on refrigerant compressor (10). Push refrigerant compressor (10) toward the engine.8. Remove V-belt (11) from the pulleys of fan drive (12) and refrigerant compressor (10). 9. Loosen the inside nut on tension adjuster rod (13), and push alternator (14) toward the engine.10. Remove V-belts (16) from the pulleys beneath the cover of alternator (14) and fan drive (12). Install the V-belts in the reverse order of removal. For Adjusting the tension on the V-belts. See "Alternator, Fan and Air Conditioning Belts" in the Operation and Maintenance Manual for the adjusting procedure.End By:a. install hood
