2. Remove plug (2) to drain the oil from the manifold.3. Disconnect tube assembly (3) from the manifold. Remove the manifold from the engine block.
LATER MACHINES ONLY4. Remove bracket (6) for later machines only.5. Remove tube (1). 6. Disconnect elbow (4) from the bonnet on oil cooler (5).7. Install a hoist on the oil cooler. Remove the oil cooler. Weight is 86 lb. (39 kg).Install Engine Oil Cooler
1. Clean and inspect all parts. Make a replacement of all parts that are worn or damaged. Put clean 10W oil on the O-ring seals.2. Put the O-ring seals in position on the support and oil cooler (2). Install the oil cooler. 3. Make sure the O-ring seal and the gasket are in position on elbow (3). Connect the elbow to the bonnet on the oil cooler.4. Install the O-ring seals on tube (1). Install the tube.5. Put 5P3413 Pipe Sealant on the plug. Install the plug in manifold (4).6. Make sure the O-ring seals are in position in the manifold. Install manifold (4).7. Connect tube assembly (5) to the manifold.8. Install the bracket on tube (1) for later machines only.9. Install coolant in the cooling system. Make sure the oil in the engine is at the correct level. start by:a) remove engine oil cooler 1. Put a mark on bonnets (1) and (2) so they can be installed in the same position from which they are removed.2. Remove the bonnets from the oil cooler core.Assemble Engine Oil Cooler
1. Clean the tubes in the core with a .125 in. (3.18) mm) dia. rod (1) from the outlet side.2. Install the gaskets and the bonnets on the oil cooler core in their correct positions.end by:a) install engine oil cooler
