The pump of the implement hydraulic system is a fixed displacement gear pump (12). Gear pump (12) provides the oil flow for the implement hydraulics. The oil is then available to activate the implements when the operator moves an implement control lever.Gear pump (12) is mounted to the front side of the upper left portion of the engine flywheel housing.Implement Controls

Bulldozer control lever (3) controls the movement of the blade. Moving the lever forward will lower the blade. Similarly, moving the lever backward will raise the blade. Moving the lever left and right tilts the blade.Bulldozer control lever (3) is located on the right console of the operator station.Ripper control lever (5) controls the movement of the ripper (if equipped). Moving the lever to the left will raise the ripper. Movement of the bulldozer and of the ripper is controlled by valves that regulate the flow of oil to the hydraulic cylinders. Bank valve (4) contains all of the individual control valves.The basic hydraulic system contains one control valve: bulldozer lift control valve (15). The machine can be equipped with as many as three control valves. If the machine is equipped with a tilt cylinder, there is one additional control valve: blade tilt control valve (14). If the machine is equipped with a ripper, there is one additional control valve: ripper lift control valve (13). If the machine is equipped with a tilt cylinder and a ripper, there are two additional control valves: blade tilt control valve (14) and ripper lift control valve (13). Each implement control valve is activated by a mechanical linkage that is connected to the implement control levers.Hydraulic oil from the implement pump enters the control valve stack through inlet manifold (8). Oil returns to the hydraulic oil tank after passing through the hydraulic oil filter.Bank valve (4) is located behind an access door on the right fender of the machine.Main Relief Valve
