3 1 473-2384 Shim Pack Use shim to obtain the end play of 0.08 to 0.13 mm (0.003 to 0.005 inch).
Thickness is 5.3 mm (0.21 inch).
4 1 530-2953 Adapter Torque to 68 N m (50 lb ft).
5 2 473-2352 Locknut Tighten locknut to achieve zero end play.
Then, tighten locknut to another 15 to 20 degrees rotation.
6 8 2H-3906 Socket Setscrew Before assembly, apply Loctite 243 to the threads.
Tighten set screw in locknut to 68 N m (50 lb ft) minimum.
Tighten screws evenly and opposite to one another and gradually increase the torque.
7 5 3B-8489 Grease Fitting Grease fitting fill cavity with NLGI Grade 2 or 3 Lithium Base Grease.
8 Use the following shims to achieve the seal height (D) which is 14.74 to 14.86 mm (0.580 to 0.585 inch).
