start by:a) remove bucket (931B)b) remove link assemblies (931B)c) remove tilt levers (931B) 1. Fasten a hoist to tilt cylinders (1). Pull the tilt cylinders up and back toward the operator's station. Fasten the tilt cylinders so they will not fall. 2. Fasten a hoist to lift cylinders (2). Remove bolts (4) that hold plates (3) in place. Remove plates (3). Remove pins (5) that hold the rod end of the lift cylinder to the lift arms. Lower the lift cylinders. 3. Fasten a hoist to the lift arms as shown. The washers on the outside and inside of each side of the lift arms are different in thickness. Make a note of this for correct assembly. 4. Remove bolts (6) that hold rear pivot pins (7) for the lift arms in place.5. Remove rear pivot pins (7) and washers from each side. 6. Remove lift arms (8). The weight is 950 lb. (433 kg). 7. Loosen clamp (9) and remove clamp (9) and magnetic switch (10) from the right rear lift arm boss. 8. Remove seals (11) from the rear pivot pin bores and the lower hinge pin bores for the bucket. Use tooling (A) and remove bearings (12) from the rear pivot pin bores and the lower hinge pin bores for the bucket. 9. Remove seals (13) from the lift cylinder pin bores. Use tooling (A) and remove bearings (15) from the lift cylinder pin bores. 10. Remove seals (14) from the tilt lever pin bores. Use tooling (B) and remove bearings (16) from the tilt lever pin bores.Install Lift Arms (931B)
1. Make sure all the bores in the lift arms for the bearings are clean. 2. Use tooling (A) as shown and install the bearings in the tilt lever pin bores. Install the bearings to a depth of .30 .010 in. (7.59 0.25 mm).3. Use tooling (B) and install bearings (2) in the lift cylinder pin bores. Install the bearings to a depth of .30 .010 in. (7.59 0.25 mm). 4. Install a seal (1) on each side of the bearings for the lift cylinder and tilt lever pins with tooling (C). Make sure the lip of the seal is away from the bearings. 5. Use tooling (B) as shown and install the four bearings for the rear pivot pins and four bearings for the lower hinge pins for the bucket. Install the bearings to a depth of .28 .010 in. (7.09 0.25 mm) from the outside surface. 6. Use tooling (C) and install a seal on each side of the rear pivot pins and the lower hinge pins for the bucket. Make sure the lips of the seals are away from the bearings. 7. Install clamp (4) and magnetic switch (3) on the right rear lift arm boss. See TESTING AND ADJUSTING for the correct adjustment for the lift kick-out after the lift arms are installed. 8. Put 5P960 Multipurpose Type Grease on the pin bores. Fasten a
