Use Tooling (G) in order to remove retaining ring (50).
Remove washer (51), thrust bearing (52), gear (53), needle bearing (54) and washer (55).

Remove retaining ring (56) and clutch pack (57).
Personal injury can result from being struck by parts propelled by a released spring force.Make sure to wear all necessary protective equipment.Follow the recommended procedure and use all recommended tooling to release the spring force.

Use Tooling (D) and a suitable press in order to compress spring (59). Use Tooling (G) in order to remove retaining ring (58). Remove the retainer and spring (59).

Release piston (60) by blowing 207 kPa (30 psi) of air into the lube passage, as shown. Remove sealing rings (61).
