Remove bolts (14) .

Slide front oil pan (12) forward in order to remove front oil pan (12) and the gasket from the engine.Note: When the gasket is removed, make a diagonal cut or a cut in the shape of a V in order to create a good seam.Installation Procedure

Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Note: Make a matching cut between the new gasket and the existing gasket in order to create a good seam. Use a suitable sealant in order to improve the effectiveness of the seam of the gasket.Note: Apply Tooling (A) to the contact point of the front housing. Position a new gasket on the engine block. Apply Tooling (A) to each gasket joint.
Install a new gasket onto front oil pan (12). Use a suitable lifting device in order to position front oil pan (12). The weight of front oil pan (12) is approximately 65 kg (143 lb). Slide front oil pan (12) backward in order to install front oil pan (12) .

Install tube assembly (11). Connect harness assembly (10). Install cable straps (9). Connect tube assembly (8) .

Install plug (2) .
Install plug (1) and close the drain valve.
