Removal Procedure

Remove clamps (1) . Remove exhaust bellow (3) . Remove clamps (2) . Remove exhaust bellow (4) .

Remove exhaust temperature sensor (5) .
Attach a suitable lifting device onto exhaust manifolds (7) . The weight of exhaust manifolds (7) is approximately 82 kg (180 lb). Loosen clamp (6) .
Remove bolts (8) from exhaust manifolds (7) . Loosen bolts (9) . Remove exhaust manifolds (7) .

Remove exhaust manifold (10) .
Repeat Steps 1 through 5 for the opposite side.Installation Procedure

Note: When, installing exhaust manifold always replace exhaust bellows and v-band clamps with new.
Position exhaust manifold (10) .Note: Align the bellows assemblies so the seam is directed away from the engine.

Attach a suitable lifting device onto exhaust manifolds (7) . The weight of exhaust manifolds (7) is approximately 82 kg (180 lb). Position exhaust manifolds (7) . Position the bellows and install clamps (6) . Tighten clamps (6) to a torque of 9 1.5 N m (80 13 lb in). Tap clamps (6) on bottom (opposite bolt), then left side, then right side, then next to bolt with a soft mallet, and tighten again to a torque of 17 2 N m (150.5 17.7 lb in).
Apply Tooling (A) to bolts (8) . Install bolts (8) in exhaust manifolds (7) . Tighten bolts (8) and (9) to a torque of 65 5 N m (48 4 lb ft).
Install exhaust temperature sensor (5) using the following procedure.
Install the adapter and tighten adapter to a torque of 47 4 N m (35 3 lb ft).
Install exhaust temperature sensor (5) probe with the fitting finger tight and the COLD end of the probe at 45 degrees counterclockwise of final position.
Tighten exhaust temperature sensor (5) to a torque of 45 5 N m (33 3.69 lb ft). If necessary, use a wrench to prevent rotation of the probe past the final installation position.Note: Do not adjust the position of the probe after installation torque has been applied.

Install exhaust bellow (4) . Install clamp assemblies (2) . Install exhaust bellow (3) . Install clamp assemblies (1) . Tighten clamp assemblies (1) and (2) to a torque of 12 2 N m (106 18 lb in).
Repeat Steps 1 through 5 for the opposite side.
