2. Put identification on the electric wires as to their location on the starting motor. Disconnect wires (1), (3), (4) and wiring harness (2) from the motor. Two persons will be needed to remove and install the starting motor because of its weight. 3. Remove the three bolts (5) and remove the starting motor from the machine. The weight of the motor is 60 lb. (27 kg).4. After the motor is checked out, put motor and gasket in position and install the three bolts (5) to hold it in place. 5. Connect wires (1), (3), (4) and wiring harness (2) to their correct location on the motor. Tighten the terminal nuts to a torque of 20-25 lb.ft. (25 to 35 N m).6. Install the panel assembly on the left side of the machine.
