Sawhead discharge debris may be increased in rough or hilly terrain. Heavier debris has the potential to travel greater distances. Always be aware of the flight angle of the sawhead discharge.Avoid cutting when people, domestic animals, building or personal property are located on the discharge side of the saw. Reposition the disc saw as necessary to avoid possible damage caused by the saw discharge.
Note: An inspection of the felling head should be completed before you operate the machine.

Remove the saw guard from the felling head.
Inspect the felling head for wear and damage to individual components. Tighten loose bolts. Remove any debris. Repair any damaged parts or replace any damaged parts.
Inspect the condition of the attachments and the condition of the hydraulic components. Repair any damaged parts or replace any damaged parts. Repair any leaks.
Grease the fittings that need to be serviced on a daily basis.
