Remove two bolts (41), the washers, and the clips.

Remove bolt (42), the washer, and the clip.
Disconnect electrical connector (43) .Note: Place the harness on top of the engine.

Disconnect tube assembly (44) .
Remove bolt (47), the washer, and the clip.
Remove two bolts (46), the washers, and the spacers from the bottom of the oil pan. Place bracket assembly (45) aside.

Disconnect hose assembly (48) .

Loosen two hose clamps (50) .
Disconnect tube assembly (51) .

Remove four bolts (53) and the washers.

Use suitable cribbing and place automatic greasing assembly (54) aside, as shown.

Disconnect hose assembly (55) from air conditioner compressor (56) .

Remove bolt (57), the washer, and the clip.
Remove bolt (59), the washer, and the clip. Place hose assembly (58) aside.

Install Tooling (B) on the torque converter housing in order to support the transmission when the engine is removed.
Support Tooling (C) with suitable cribbing. Attach Tooling (C) to Tooling (B), as shown.

Attach Tooling (D) to the lifting points on the engine, as shown. Attach a suitable hoist to Tooling (D) .

Remove engine mounting bolt (60). Repeat this procedure for the opposite side.

Remove ten bolts (61) and the washers in order to separate the engine from the transmission.
Use the hoist in order to remove the engine. The weight of the engine is 1000 kg (2200 lb).Note: Adjust the lever puller hoist in order to keep the engine level.
