Improved air lines need to be installed on the products listed below. The existing air lines can foul each other and cause unexpected machine downtime. You will not be charged for the service performed.
Contact your local Cat dealer immediately to schedule this service. The dealer will advise you of the time required to complete this service.
If you are no longer the owner of this product(s), please contact your local Cat dealer so that our records can be updated. Please refer the dealer to their Service Letter dated 19Jan2016 when scheduling this service.

Rework Procedure
Prepare machine for service. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly manuals as needed.
Refer to Image1.1.1. Remove existing 391-2444 tube and 463-1873 or 367-4966 hump hose. The clamps will not be reused. These are located on the right hand side of the machine, in the engine enclosure.
Retain the two clamps on the top of the radiator cores and associated hardware for reuse.

Refer to Image1.2.1. Remove 7C-3910 hose and clamps. The clamps will not be reused. This is located on the left hand side of the machine, in the engine enclosure.

Refer to Image1.3.1. Install new hump hose, clamps, and ATAAC tube assembly as shown. Leave the clamps loose.

Refer to Image1.4.1. Install the 486-7011 tube assembly and 457-9161 clamps. Leave the clamps loose.
Reinstall the top two clamps (A and B). These clamps tend to rotate the tube assembly to the rear of the machine. It may be best to start with the tube rotated slightly forward so the clamps bring it into position.

Check for clearance in the area shown in Image1.5.1. Make adjustments as needed.
Tighten the 208-7448 clamps and the 457-9161 clamps to 7.5 +/- 1 Nm, 11 Nm max.
Tighten the top clamps (A and B) to 55 +/- 10 Nm.
