Removal Procedure
Start By:
Remove the boom.

Disconnect hose assemblies (1) from both sides of the machine.

Install mounting pin assemblies (3) for the boom and install a suitable lifting device to pin assemblies (3). The weight of grapple arch (2) is approximately 658 kg (1450 lb).

Position suitable cribbing under arch cylinder (4), as shown.

Remove bolt (6) and pin assembly (5).
Disconnect arch cylinder (4).
Repeat Steps 3 and 4 for the other arch cylinder.

Lower grapple arch (2) and attach another suitable lifting device to grapple arch (2), as shown. The weight of grapple arch (2) is approximately 658 kg (1450 lb).

Remove bolt (7) and pin assembly (8). Repeat this Step for the other side of the machine.
Remove grapple arch (2).

Remove bearings (9) from both sides.Installation Procedure
Install grapple arch (2) in the reverse order of removal.
