Install a pressure gauge onto port (1) and onto port (2). Use the equipment that is shown in Table 1.
Place the switch for the speed selection in the low speed range. This will ensure that the parameters for shifting are met. Refer to System Operation, Troubleshooting, and Testing and Adjusting, KENR5968.Note: Two speed ranges are available on some machines. The high speed range is indicated by a letter H inside the symbol of a gear on the instrument cluster. The low gear range has speeds 1 and 2. The speeds are indicated by a number 1 and a number 2 inside of the symbol of a gear on the instrument cluster.
Start the engine and run the engine at low idle.Note: The drive train has the ability to momentarily activate output of the motor during shifting attempts.
Release the parking brake.
Position the machine with the work tool against an stationary object.
With the machine on level ground and the hydraulic oil at 55° 5°C (131° 9°F), drive the machine forward against the stationary object.

Slowly increase the engine speed of the machine. Record the pressure at port (1) and port (2), the parameter for DRIVE PUMP SIGNAL PRESSURE that is listed on ET, and Engine speed. Use Table 2 in order to record your values.
