Fuel shutoff solenoidAdaptable To: The 172-7209 Solenoid is a direct replacement for the former 160-6376 Solenoid. The former 160-6376 Solenoid is no longer available for service. The 172-7209 Solenoid is adaptable to all 3034 engines and the new solenoid is effective in production with the serial number S/N:3NW27464-UP
. Refer to your Disassembly and Assembly manual for removal and installation instructions of the fuel shutoff solenoid.Note: Even after a solenoid is replaced with a new part, caution should be used. The fuel shutoff solenoid is subject to failure if the engine is cranked for prolonged periods such as priming the fuel system after changing a fuel filter. Avoid this practice by using the mechanical priming pump on the engine. See your Operation and Maintenance Manual for appropriate starting instructions.
