The 343-8148 Plate (9) can be welded on the outside of the fender assembly. A fillet type of skip weld of 3 mm (0.12 inch) (A) should be used in order to secure the plate.
Use the following hardware and install the 338-0627 Front Handrail As (1) :
Three 5P-1076 Hard Washers (4)
Three 259-2627 Bolts (8)
Use the following hardware and install the 318-0536 Tread Plate (2) :
Four 7X-7729 Washers (5)
Four 8T-4137 (7)
Use the following hardware and install the 271-6472 Step (3) :
Two 8T-4121 Hard Washers (6)
Two 8T-4137 Bolts (7) Installation of the Platform Group for the 966H and the 972H Wheel Loaders

Weld the 254-0004 Bracket As (10) and 276-0730 Bracket As (11) as shown in Illustration 8. Use a 5 mm (0.2 inch) fillet weld with 1.5 mm (0.1 inch) penetration.
Weld the 132-6964 Plate (12) as shown in Illustration 8. Use a 5 mm (0.2 inch) fillet weld with 1.5 mm (0.1 inch) penetration.
