Use Tooling (C) in order to install boom cylinder (12) into position. The weight of the boom cylinder is approximately 204 kg (450 lb).

Lower boom cylinder (12) onto suitable cribbing.

Align boom cylinder (12) with the boom. Apply Tooling (D) to pin assembly (9). Install pin assembly (9). Secure pin assembly (9) with bolt (16) .

Connect hose assemblies (15) .

Attach a suitable lifting device to boom cylinder (12). Apply tension to the boom cylinder.

Align boom cylinder (12) with the boom. Apply Tooling (D) to pin assembly (14). Install pin assembly (14). Secure pin (14) with bolt (13) .

Connect hose assembly (11) to tube assembly (10) .

Tighten fitting (8) .

Install cover (7). Secure cover (7) with bolts (6) .
