HARNESS AS-WIRING 3558916 - Caterpillar

(5SK, 2LM, 8TK, 4DJ2075-UP) WHEEL LOADERSProblem:
On certain machines equipped with the Air Inlet Heater (AIH) starting aid, there is an unused wire (circuit 795-YL), which is reserved for the dual horsepower solenoid on 960F Wheel Loaders. If this wire shorts to ground, a service code of MID 081, CID 617, FMI 06 will be recorded in the transmission control module when the AIH feature is used. This code indicates a short to ground in the AIH relay circuit. This occurs because Pin 10 (AIH Relay) and Pin 38 (Dual Horsepower Solenoid) located on the Transmission Control Module 40 Pin Connector are electrically connected inside of the module.Solution:
If an active MID 081, CID 617, FMI 06 service code exists and the AIH relay circuit (334-BU) is not shorted to ground, check the 795-YL circuit for a short to ground.
