Installation Procedure
Be careful and do not allow the blades on the fan to contact the radiator core. Damage to the radiator core could result.

Put the fan assembly in position on the radiator support.
Put fan drive (12) in position and install bolts (11) .

Put the V-belts on the fan drive pulley and on the alternator pulley. Move the alternator away from the engine in order to put tension on the V-belts. Tighten bolts (7) .Note: Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual, SEBU7156, "Alternator Belts and Fan Belts - Inspect/Adjust/Replace" for the proper adjusting procedure.

Position fan assembly (10) on adapter (9) and install bolts (8) .

Put the fan guard assemblies in position. Install bolts (5) into the guard assemblies.
Install bolts (6) into the fan guard assemblies.

Put engine access panel (4) in position on the left side of the machine. Install six bolts (3) that hold the access panel in place.

Put engine access panel (1) in position on the right side of the machine. Install six bolts (2) that hold the access panel in place.
