Removal Procedure
Start By:
Remove the hood.

Remove two bolts (1) . Disconnect the elbow and dust ejector hose (2) from muffler (3) .

Loosen clamp (4) and remove exhaust stack (5) from the muffler. Remove eight plugs (6) and remove the bolts that hold the mufflers to the hood. Fasten straps and a suitable lifting device to hood (7) .
Remove hood (7) . The weight of the hood is 248 kg (546.0 lb) .

Remove clamp (8) in order to disconnect elbow (9) from muffler (3) .Installation Procedure

Connect elbow (9) to muffler (3) and install clamp (8) . Tighten clamp (8) to a torque of 16 4 N m (12.0 3.0 lb ft). Tap all the way around the clamp lightly. Tighten the clamp to a torque of 16 4 N m (12.0 3.0 lb ft) .

Fasten straps and a suitable lifting device to hood (7) . Install hood (7) . The weight of the hood is 248 kg (546.0 lb) .
Install the bolts that hold the mufflers to the hood and install eight plugs (6) . Install exhaust stack (5) to the muffler. Tighten clamp (4) to a torque of 25 7 N m (18.0 5.0 lb ft) .

Connect dust ejector hose (2) and the elbow to muffler (3) . Install two bolts (1) .End By: Install the hood.
