Install the two 164-5567 Quick Couplers (12) using new 214-7568 O-rings. Install the dust caps (13).

Assemble the clip and grommet assemblies to the tubes using the 5P-8444 Grommet (23) on the 425-0470 Tube and the 6V-1874 Grommet (19) on the 425-0469 Tube. Assemble using one 5P-7468 Clip (17) and one 5P-7469 Clip (18) per each tube. Attach the clip assemblies to the 425-0471 Bracket (36) using the 8T-4185 Bolt (39), 8T-4133 Nut (41) and two 7X-7729 Washers (40). Do not fully tighten hardware at this time. Assemble and orientate the retaining clips and bracket as shown in image 1.14.1 below. Attach the 220-6113 Block (33) to the 425-0471 Bracket (36) using two 8T-4139 Bolts (34) and two 5P-1076 Washers (35).

Align the 425-0471 Bracket, 220-6113 Block and the attached clip and grommet assemblies so that they are centralized between the two bends of the 425-0470 Tube Assembly. (See image 1.15.1).

Align the 220-6113 Block against the truck frame as close to the mounting location as possible shown in image 1.16.1 below. Once the 220-6113 Block is in the desired position on the truck frame, mark the location to where the block will be welded.

Remove the 220-6113 Block from the 425-0471 Bracket. Protect the tubes and clips from any weld debris. Weld the 220-6113 Block to the truck frame in the previously marked location as required. (Note: protect the threads inside of the block from any welding debris).

Assemble the 425-0471 Bracket to the clip assemblies using the 8T-4185 Bolt, 8T-4133 Nut and two 7X-7729 Washers. Attach the 425-0471 Bracket to the 220-6113 Block using two 8T-4139 Bolts and two 5P-1076 Washers. (Apply 8M-0553 Sealant on threads). Tighten all hardware and check that all components are assembled correctly. (See image 1.18.1)

Prep and paint all areas of exposed bare metal.
Step 19
Start the truck and allow engine to idle for 2 minutes before operating the hoist system. Operate the hoist system and test the body operation. Shut off the engine and check for leaks.
