Information:

Position the felling head into a horizontal position, as shown.
Release the hydraulic system pressure. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "System Pressure - Release".

Install a suitable lifting device onto the tilt cylinder, as shown.

Remove nuts and bolts (1). Slide pin (2) from the rod end of the tilt cylinder.
Lower tilt cylinder (3) onto the stick.

Disconnect hose assemblies (4) and (5) from both ends of the tilt cylinder.

Remove bolt (6) and pin (7) from the head end of the tilt cylinder. Remove the tilt cylinder (8). The weight of the tilt cylinder is approximately 255 kg (560 lb). Disassembly and Assembly
