Disconnect harness assembly (20). Remove clips (19) and (21) .

Remove clips (22), (23), and (24) .

Turn the fuel supply to the "OFF" position.
Disconnect hose assembly (25) at the back of the engine cylinder head.

Remove bolt (30). Disconnect hose assembly (29) and duct assembly (31) .

Cut cable straps (33) and reposition the harness assembly.

Attach Tooling (A), Tooling (B), and Tooling (C) to engine and torque converter (34). The weight of engine and torque converter (34) is approximately 1588 kg (3500 lb). Note: Attach Shackle (Y) at the rear of the engine.

Remove bolts (39) from both sides.

Remove bolts (36) from both sides.

Use Tooling (A), Tooling (B), and Tooling (C) in order to remove engine and torque converter (34). Installation Procedure
Install engine and torque converter (34) in the reverse order of removal.
Tighten bolts (36) to a torque of 270 40 N m (200 30 lb ft).
Tighten bolts (35) to a torque of 520 70 N m (384 52 lb ft).
