Remove the engine oil pump. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Engine Oil Pump - Remove".
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Use Tooling (A) to rotate the crankshaft in order to gain access to the piston cooling jet.
Remove bolt (1) and piston cooling jet (2). Installation Procedure

Use Tooling (A) to rotate the crankshaft in order to gain access to the piston cooling jet.
Position piston cooling jet (2) in the cylinder block. Install bolt (1). Tighten the bolt to a torque of 25 6 N m (18 4 lb ft). End By:
Install the engine oil pump. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Engine Oil Pump - Install".
