HARNESS AS-WIRING 3879107 - Caterpillar

Note: Create 12 sets of clips. Use six sets per each side of the implement control group. The two sets of clips in the rear "A" of the implement control group will require one 8T-4121 Hard Washer (12) for the clips. Refer to Illustration 19 and 22 for the locations.
Loosely assemble and then attach one 3P-5903 Clip (4) and one 3P-5904 Clip (5) to the existing bosses by using one 8T-4136 Bolt (13). Refer to Illustration 22 for locations.
Route the two 315-6346 Hose As (3) through the clip assemblies on both sides of the implement control group. Refer to Illustration 22.
By using one 148-8371 Elbow As (7) and one 148-8366 Elbow As (8) and one 6V-9168 Nut (9), attach the 315-6346 Hose As (3) to each side bracket that was discussed in Step 2 and Step 3.
Attach one 6V-9829 Cap As (10) to the retract side and to the extend side of the 315-6346 Hose As (3) .
Route both 315-6346 Hose As (3) toward the back side of the implement control group. Refer to Illustration 16.

Using two 4J-5477 O-Ring Seal (6) per 315-6346 Hose As (3), attach one 6V-9835 Swivel Tee (11) to the retract side and the extend side hoses. Refer to Illustration 23.

Locate the 233-2549 Control Manifold Gp (B) on the left side of the machine below the operator station.
Remove the existing solenoid valve from the 233-2549 Control Manifold Gp (B) .

Replace the old solenoid valve with one 247-4502 Solenoid Valve Gp (2) and tighten the solenoid valve to the required torque value of 27 N m (20.0 lb ft).
Remove the plug from the 233-2549 Control Manifold Gp (B) and remove the existing check valve cartridge. Refer to Illustration 26
Insert one 315-6349 Cartridge (3) and tighten the cartridge to the required torque value of 5.4 N m (50 lb in) to 6.7 N m (60 lb in). Refer to Illustration 26
Reinstall the plug back into the port.
Connect the terminal of the existing "S1" wire or red and black wire to the terminal of solenoid 247-4502 Solenoid Valve Gp (2) .Note: The "S2" wire is not needed.

Remove the existing switch that controls the coupler pin lock in the operator station.
Remove the jumper from "terminal 2" and "terminal 5" on the 225-6303 Switch (1) .
Install the 225-6303 Switch (1) in place of the switch that was removed in Step 8.
