1. Disconnect tube assembly (1) from the fan drive housing.2. Disconnect hose assembly (2). 3. Remove bolts (3). Remove fan drive (4) from the timing gear housing. 4. Remove bolts (5). Remove adapter (6) from the camshaft gear.Install Fan Drive
1. Put adapter (1) in position on the camshaft gear. Install the bolts that hold it. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 55 7 N m (40 5 lb ft). 2. Check O-ring seal (3) on the fan drive for wear or damage. If necessary, make a replacement. Put a small amount of clean SAE 30W oil on the O-ring seal.3. Put fan drive (2) in position on the timing gear housing. Install the bolts that hold it. 4. Connect tube assembly (4) to the fan drive housing.5.
