Information:
Test Preparation - Stable Blade Sensor
Move the machine to a smooth, horizontal location that is away from operating machines and away from personnel.
Permit only one operator on the machine. Keep all other personnel away from the machine or in the operator sight.
Place the steering control lever in the NEUTRAL position.
Engage the parking brake.
Lower the attachments to the ground.
Stop the engine.

Connect the communication adapter (B) to service tool connector (E1). Test Procedure - Stable Blade Sensor
Perform the steps in the "Test Preparation - Stable Blade Sensor" then continue with the following steps.
Start the engine and run the engine at LOW IDLE.
Release the implement lockout to allow blade to move.
Start Electronic Technician (ET) and select the "Status" screen.

Highlight blade lift.
Insure the Blade Pitch Rate changes when the blade is moving up or down.

Under the information tab, select DataLog and then Recorder.

When the Data Log Recorder screen appears, follow the instructions in the status section. Select settings at the bottom of the screen.

Select the Blade Lift group.

After the settings are selected, select Start at the bottom of the Data Log Recorder screen.

The Data Log will start recording.
Starting with the blade 1 inch off the ground, pull the lift lever rearward. This lever action is to command full raise to the implement valve.
Hold this command until the blade is fully raised and the implement valve begins to stall.

When the blade reaches the end of the stroke, wait for the Data Log Recorder to stop recording. Viewing Data
Select the "Graph" tab at the bottom left section of the screen.

Select the Blade Pitch Rate to view the results.

Analyze the blade pitch channel and compare to example in Illustration 2. Note: The curve should be smooth, and without discontinuities or noise.
