2     1     9W-5224 Duo-Cone Seal Gp     Rubber toric seals and all surfaces that in contact with the seals must be clean and dry at assembly. Prior to assembly apply, a thin layer of 6V-4876 Lubricant to the surfaces that are in contact with the metal seals. The metal seal must be assembled square with the bore. The rubber toric seals must not bulge. The rubber toric seals must not be twisted.    
3     1     8P-6188 Retainer Plate     Assemble the retainer plate so that the machined surface of the retainer plate faces toward the end of the shaft and the special bearing assembly.    
4     1     357-1634 Cover     Before assembly, apply green Loctite 609 to the outside diameter of the cover.    
5     1     7H-3171 Pipe Plug     Before assembly, apply blue Loctite 242 to the threads.    
A     1     362-0514 Shaft     Minimum length of the shaft that must be free of paint before assembly is
78 mm (3.0 inch).
