(1) Pressure tap (2) Oil cooler bypass manifoldThe oil cooler manifold (2) is located under the operator platform, on the right side of the machine. Case drain oil from the following hydraulic systems is sent to the oil cooler bypass manifold:
Propulsion system
Vibratory system
Auger system
Conveyor system
Generator system The return oil from the cooling fan motor is also sent through the oil cooler bypass manifold. The ports of the oil cooler bypass manifold (2) are marked for identification. Oil from the fan motor case drain is directed into the J-port of the manifold.The H-port of the oil cooler bypass manifold (2) is equipped with a pressure tap (1). Oil cooler inlet pressure can be measured at this tap.The combined return oil from all of the hydraulic systems is sent out the TC-port of the oil cooler bypass manifold (2) and to the oil cooler. The oil cooler bypass manifold is equipped with a 210 kPa (30 psi) check valve. When the pressure differential across the oil cooler is greater than the value of the check valve, the valve opens. Oil is then returned directly to the hydraulic tank.
