1 1 205-1280 Hose As Use the following procedure to install the hose assembly (1) :
1. Align the hose assembly (1) with the oil line adapter group (2) that is installed in the low-pressure port of the unit injector hydraulic pump.
2. Push the connector onto the fitting until the connector snaps together. You should hear a definite snap and a solid stop should be felt.
3. Abruptly pull back on the hose assembly in order to verify that a proper connection has been made. The coupling should not separate.
Adjust the oil line adapter group to the angle (A) of 15 5 degrees.

4 2 183-3399 Connector As Use the following procedure to install the tube assembly (5) :
1. Align the threads of connector assemblies to the port on the unit injector hydraulic pump and the cylinder head assembly.
2. Hand tighten the connector assemblies. Tighten the connector assemblies to 48 to 53 N m (35 to 39 lb ft).
3. Align the threads of the nuts (3) on the tube assembly to the connector assemblies.
4. Hand tighten the nuts (3). Tighten the nuts (3) to 40 to 44 N m (30 to 32 lb ft).
