Air under pressure can cause personal injury. Close the shutoff valve or release the pressure from the air system before any lines are removed or disconnected.
1. Disconnect hose (1). Cap or plug immediately to prevent contamination.2. Disconnect hose (5). Cap or plug immediately to prevent contamination.3. Remove two U-bolts (2) and (6).4. Take air control assembly (8) to a suitable work bench. Mark or identify orientation of components for later installation.5. Remove silencer assembly (3) from air control valve (4).6. Remove air filter and air lubricator assembly (7) as a unit.7. Remove air regulator assembly (9) as a unit.8. Remove old fittings from air control assembly (8). For installation of the air control valve, reverse the removal steps. Apply 5P3413 Pipe Sealant on the threads of the fittings during assembly.
