Propel Pump (2) Forward relief valve test port (3) Reverse relief valve test port
Connect tooling (A) or (B) to pressure test ports (2) and (3) of the propel pump.
Start the machine and run the engine at 3005 15 RPM for 4 cylinder engines CB-334E (S/N: C4F1-UP, C4X1-UP) and CB-335E (S/N: C5F1-UP). Start the machine and run the engine at 2800 10 RPM for 3 cylinder engines CB-334E (S/N: C4J1-UP) and CB-335E (S/N: C5J1-UP). Check the hydraulic temperature with Tool (B) until the hydraulic oil temperature reaches 38°C (100°F).
Pull the parking brake knob upward.
Move the propel control lever to the full FORWARD direction and the full REVERSE direction. Read the pressure gauges. The pressure at both gauges should peak at 37500 1000 kPa (5439 145 psi).
At this pressure, the drum and the wheels should not move.
If the drum and the wheels move, refer to Propel System Troubleshooting in order to diagnose the problem.
Remove the tooling.
Reconnect wiring harness (1) for the brake solenoid.
