HARNESS AS-CONTROL 5365065 - Caterpillar

Lift the 275-5879 Brace Support Gp into arrangement and bolt to the rear mounting bracket (31) using bolt (107), nut (108), and washer (106). Refer to Illustration 25.
Torque all fasteners to proper specification.
Tighten all hydraulic fittings to specifications. Test cylinders for correct operation and hydraulic leaks.Installation of the Blade Group and Strut Assembly

Attach the vertical link of the link group to the ear assembly on the backside of the blade using the existing hardware.

Install extension tube (33) to the blade using existing hardware.

Pin the end with the cable attached to the 337-2921 Brace Support Gp using existing hardware.
Attach the cable clevis to the brace support group.Note: The cable clevis must be attached to the rear strut support brace group. This cable restricts the travel of the strut group and blade when the shear pin has been sheared.

Torque all fasteners to proper specification. Ensure that the shear-bolt has been fastened with two of 9S-8752 Full Nut .Note: Maintain a supply of 3/8 inch x 4.0 inch grade 8 capscrew, Caterpillar number 8S-9191 Bolt , to use as shear pin. Use only a 3/8 inch diameter grade 8 capscrew as shear pin. Any other type of material or different diameter will not provide the protection required from extreme shock loads. Using any other type of shear pin could result in damage to the snow wing and/or Motor Grader.
