19 indicator lightsThe indicator lights are turned ON by the controller, or the lights are turned ON by switches and relays that are monitoring the machine systems. Some of the indicators are used to signal a function or mode and other indicators are used to alert the operator to improper machine conditions. When an indicator is ON because of an improper machine condition, the action lamp also turns ON. In addition, the action alarm may sound. The action of the alarm depends on the severity of the improper machine condition.

See the Operation And Maintenance Manual of the machine that is being serviced for information on each indicator. In order to turn ON an indicator on the monitor panel, the corresponding connector contact is grounded.
