1. Fasten a hoist to final drive (2), and remove nuts and washers (1). Use two 5/8"-11 NC forcing screws to remove the final drive. Weight is 209 kg (460 lb.). Remove the O-ring seal from the final drive. The following steps are for installation of the final drives.2. Be sure the O-ring seal is in place on the final drive. Put clean oil on the O-ring seal. 3. Fasten a hoist to the final drive. Install axle and sun gear (3) in the final drive as shown to balance it so it can be installed easily. START BY:a. remove final drives 1. Remove shafts (1), washers and planet gears (2) from the carrier. Remove the roller bearings and spacer from the planet gears. The following steps are for assembly of the final drives. 2. Install roller bearings (5) and spacers (4) in planet gears (2). Put the planet gears in position in the carrier with a washer (3) on both sides of the planet gears. Be sure the rings are in place on shafts (1). Install shafts (1) with the end that has the ring toward the outside of the carrier.END BY:a. install final drives
