Remove the rear axle assembly. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Oscillating Axle (Rear) - Remove".
Remove the axle shafts. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Axle Shaft - Remove".
Remove the front trunnion support. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Trunnion Support (Oscillating Axle, Front) - Remove".Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before the removal procedure, the exterior of the component should be thoroughly cleaned. This will help to prevent dirt from entering the internal mechanism.

Place axle housing assembly (1) on suitable stands with the differential pinion in the UPWARD position.

Disconnect hose assembly (2) and hose assembly (5) .
Remove bolt (3) and bolt (4). Remove the brackets and the spacers.
Disconnect six hose assemblies (6) .
Remove 20 bolts (8) and the washers. Remove bracket (7) .

Install Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to differential and bevel gear (9). The weight of differential and bevel gear (9) is approximately 385 kg (850 lb)
Install bolts (3) and (4) (as shown). Use bolts (3) and (4) as forcing bolts in order to separate differential and bevel gear (9) from axle housing assembly (1) .

Remove differential and bevel gear (9) from axle housing assembly (1) .

Remove O-ring seal (11) from differential and bevel gear (9) .
