Installation Procedure
Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids.Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "Caterpillar Tools and Shop Products Guide" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids on Caterpillar products.Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.

Install new O-ring seal (13) .

Place piston pump (12) into position. Make sure that the splines are aligned.
Install washers and two bolts (11). Tighten the bolts.

Install hose (10) .
Tighten clamp (9) .

Connect hydraulic line (8) .

Install tube (7) and half flanges (6) to the piston pump.
Install washers and four bolts (5). Tighten the bolts.

Install hydraulic line (4) and install washers and two bolts (3) to the piston pump.

Note: Fill hose (15) with new hydraulic oil.
Connect hose (15) .
Tighten clamp (14) .

Place plate (2) into position. Install washers and three bolts (1) .,, End By:
Fill the hydraulic tank. Refer to Operation and Maintenance ManualSEBU7255, "Refill Capacities" and Operation and Maintenance ManualSEBU7255, "Lubricant Viscosities".
Lower the cab. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Cab - Tilt".
