141-6898 Suspension Frame An improved suspension frame is used as a service part of the front suspension frame group on the listed machines. The factory installed suspension frame that was part of the factory fitted front suspension frame is no longer available as a service part. Other components of the factory fitted front suspension frame group (Example: Spherical bearing, bellows seal) continue to be available as service parts.The improved suspension frame is manufactured with a larger bearing housing in order to use a larger spherical bearing with better service life. The improved suspension frame also incorporates additional grease paths to improve lubrication of the spherical bearing.To maximize benefit, when changing the 141-6898 Suspension Frame, replace the hitch pin, spherical bearing, special washer, collar, bellows seal, and other related components.Service parts for front suspension frame group using the earlier suspension frame are still available.Adaptable To: 141-6898 Suspension Frame which is part of 141-6858 Front Suspension Frame Gp on the listed machines is no longer a serviceable part. The other components of 141-6858 Front Suspension Frame Gp remain serviceable parts.If 141-6898 Suspension Frame requires replacement, use 338-9368 Suspension Frame as the replacement part. The 338-9368 Suspension Frame houses a larger spherical bearing which requires the 300-3930 Hitch Pin in the 141-6857 Oscillating Hitch to be replaced with 301-6951 Hitch Pin .Replacing the 141-6898 Suspension Frame with a 338-9368 Suspension Frame will convert the 141-6858 Front Suspension Frame Gp into a 339-7710 Front Suspension Frame Gp. The 339-7710 Front Suspension Frame Gp utilizes the current spherical bearing and greasing arrangement to improve service life of the joint.When replacing the 141-6898 Suspension Frame, use all the parts detailed in "Parts Required to Replace the 141-6898 Suspension Frame with a 338-9368 Suspension Frame". All other parts in the 141-6858 Front Suspension Frame Gp and 141-6857 Oscillating Hitch remain the same.Parts Required to Replace the 141-6898 Suspension Frame with a 338-9368 Suspension Frame
