Pilot oil manifold compartment (1) Hose assembly (2) Pressure tap
Disconnect hose assembly (1) from the pilot manifold.Note: Hose assembly (1) is connected into the "A3" port on the pilot manifold.
Install a 148-8424 Tee Gp into the "A3" port on the pilot oil manifold.
Install 148-8336 Connector into 148-8424 Tee Gp and reconnect hose assembly (1) .
Install 6V-4433 Fitting and 3J-1907 O-Ring Seal into 148-8424 Tee Gp .
Connect a 4000 kPa (580 psi) pressure gauge to the pressure tap that was installed in Step 4. Connect a 4000 kPa (580 psi) pressure gauge to pressure tap (2) .
Start the engine.
Place the engine speed dial at position 6.
Lower the left console.
Slowly swing left or right in order to release the swing brake.
Check the pressure at the installed pressure tap. The pressure should be equal to the pilot pressure.
If the pressure at the installed pressure tap is not equal to the pilot pressure, check the pilot pressure on pressure tap (2) first.
Release the swing joystick in order to activate the swing brake.Note: The swing brake remains released for 3.5 seconds after the swing operation stops.
Check the pressure at the installed pressure tap. The pressure should decrease to 0 kPa (0 psi) at the installed pressure tap.
